Coding cable and ESYS, psdzdata

Hello Shawn, I'm looking for the most recent PSdZData_Lite files to update my current files. Curious if you also had ISTA+ as I've had trouble finding a copy.

Thanks!

Hi folks, I believe I have ruined my car ECUs. At first I was aiming to retrofit a rear view camera for my car. I have VO coded 3AG, coded HU-NBT2, ICAM4. The rear view camera icon appeared but greyed out. I noticed from another post that I have to code ACSM5 but it was missing under the ECU list. At this point, I decided to do a flash but accidentally chose to flash all ECUs (left all checkboxes checked in TAL-processing). It has some errors including SVT list does not match, DSC3 not found and timeouts. Now the iDrive stays blue, many alerts show in the instrument cluster and even worst the instrument cluster cannot show the speed and I lost electric steering.

Appreciate if anyone can help and give advices on bringing the ECUs back. Thanks.

I use E-sys 3.30 + psdz 4.33.1 with ENET USB
i-series is s15a-18-03-541 and picked s15a-21-11-560 when making connection.

Even worst, I just did a full refresh again but the process of flashing DKOMBI2 swlf was very slow (30 min for 5%) and result in a connection drop eventually (low battery probably). Now the car can start but I can’t change gears nor release parking brake and the instrument cluster stays black with the two green indicator lights keep flashing (perhaps in flashing mode?). Would anyone give me some advices on what to do next? Are there any ways to kick it out of the flashing mode?
Thanks in advance.

Put car on a proper 50+ Amps Continuous charger or jump to another car with its motor running, and ref lash.

DME and DSC need to be on the same I-Step.

Hi Shawn,

Thanks for the reply. Is it normal that flashing DKOMBI2 will take more than 10 hours to complete? Also, which charger would you suggest that I can buy in UK?
Once again, thanks for the support.

No. Maybe it was due to low voltage. I have no idea on charger. Just be sure it's 50+ Amps continuous.

Hi Shawn,

You are right. It is probably because of low voltage. I charged the car battery overnight and re-flashed DKOMBI2 this morning and it can be completed within 10 minutes. Now the car is at least drivable but with following issues / alerts:
- Auto PDC failure (the sensors around the cars are not functioning but the rear view camera can be shown)
- Driver assistance restricted (Pedestrian alert, Front-end collision warning)
- Driving stabilization restricted
- Air con not working (only hot air come out)
- Map is not loaded (Is it because of NBT's country code?)

I guess these should be fixed when I flash the remaining ECUs to the same level. Am I correct? Below is the screenshot of the latest TAL:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1yYa...ew?usp=sharing

I will definitely wait for the PSU to flash the remaining ECUs.
Thanks for your help.

I won't speculate. I'd flash them all and see what you end up with and go from there.

Hi Shawn,

I got the PSU today and flashed the remaining ECUs. Now only 2 problems left:

1. NBT map cannot be loaded - I believed it’s because of fake FSC as I used Easy USBCoding to activate carplay using USB before and I found from another thread that you have helped others to resolve the issue. Can I guide me through?

2. Engine light - I guessed it is about airbag as I have flashed ACSM. I’ll check with ISTA tomorrow as I’m too tired right now.

Thanks very much for your help.

1. You need solution from your Vendor, which must be ENET based, not USB.

2. Need to LOCK ACSM with ISTA or Tool32.

Hi Shawn,

I contacted the vendor about the navigation issue and they asked me to buy the ENET solution. I was given a tool called FeatureInstaller7.exe and that can patch CarPlay with navigation enabled. When I ran the tool again to restore OEM FSC, the navigation failed to load again. I asked the vendor about this and they simply asked me to retry and retry and eventually ignored me.

I suspected the FSC the tool backed up to my desktop was a fake one so it won't restore to OEM FSC. I have a recall letter and I need to bring my car back to the dealer. Do you have any ideas for me to restore to OEM FSC?

Thanks.

Only way is to flash EVO, and then manually load each OEM FSC Code.
