Welcome Craigpt,

Firstly, as you've alluded to, you need to find another dealer! I thought our inner city one was bad, but that takes the cake. I have a price list of options for the F30, not the F31, that I am happy to scan and upload if you or anyone else wants it. It's inclusive of GST and LCT though, so it's not really 'real', from the point of view of buying an entire package.

I'll be finalizing my purchase in the next week or two and will happily share the invoice then, just need to negotiate the final discount.

Simon...

There is still no 328 touring in BMW Sydney yet. Only has 320i. I Ordered 328i f31 at the end because of the options are better equipped as standard. Leather seat, lumbar support, auto mirror anti dazzle and closing, plus adding the lines are cheaper with nav business.

After driven 328i sedan, the difference is clear compared to 320

F31 if you can push hard can get up to 7k off. Mhh bought the 320i touring in a good price http://www.f30post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=806463

But check the production date for touring. Aim march 2013 if there are any pre owned. Don't know when my14 f31 will arrive, probably September allocation for any updates

Welcome Craig,

Remember there are dealers just out of Sydney (an hour so) who don't seem to have the same attitude!

big one normally don't come with big discount, check the postcode, they have to pay premium rent for the land... so you figure out how much they have to stick with their GM goal targets.

HFW003 is right, smaller dealers are better but probably won't have many choices to test drive. do your home work here and on the internet. Be prepared to ask dealer questions they normally hide or not mentioning.

F30 should have better deal at the moment but F31 could be harder for bigger discount.

There is a dealer slightly north of Sydney which is not a "small" dealer by any measure. I haven't visited them for a while (still waiting for my new one to turn up) but on my last visit they had plenty of demo's.

As I have already shown in this thread they are also good to "deal" with.

I can't promise anything but if anyone would like me to hook them up I am happy to do so, just let me know .

First time BMW owner here - well almost. My car is in the country and should be delivered in a couple of weeks.

I ordered the 320i in Imperial Blue. Black Dekota leather interior with Sportline and red trim. Business Nav, parking sensors and reversing camera.

Can't wait for it to arrive. Saw 2 covered in the black cloth about to be unveiled to the lucky owners.

Got it in Sydney and was very happy with the salesman and dealer. Price was good(but we all think that). Was happy with the power out of the 320i compared to what I'd heard of the pre f30 ones.

I'm hearing that dealers are offering 4 years free servicing as part of the EOFY sale.

Does anyone know how much this would roughly add up to in real $AUD terms for a 328i buyer?

I would imagine it would be $500 - $600 per service so around $2.5K would be my guess.

May even be slightly higher but I couldnt imagine it being lower.

4 years major and minor depending how much you drive would average about 800 a year

Hey guys, have been quoted 78100 for 328 with
M sport
Xenons
Pro nav
Metallic paint
Extended connectivity

That's the first price I have been given so haven't negotiated yet. How does that compare, should I be looking for a further discount? The car is already built and in the country
Thanks

Assume including 4yr free service already. Does the leather have front seat heating? Would be nice in winter! For snowy canberra, the coldest capital city of all states and territories.

Servicing yes, heated seats no though .
You are right about it being cold though!

It seems high mate.

I paid $74K for my original one and it had quite a few more options than that one.

Agree about the heated seats as well.

If you are not in a desperate hurry I would still build one and put in the sports seats, adaptive suspension and the HK sound, but that's me!

Good luck.

Thanks H that was my feeling as well, I was thinking around 74 would be the mark to aim for.
I probably can't wait to build one so will have to be a bit accommodating with what's available . Agreed about the sports seats though , fortunately I'm only looking at m sport or sport line so they are already standard.
Thanks for the insight
