How are you trying to update? Using USB?
The method used to update is using Esys. I can see you have ID4 NBTEvo, i think NBTevo_Exx was the last firmware for that device. If you want i can flash for you ID5 on your headunit. |

What's the newest NBT Evo version for a 2019 F36? Mine has version U installed, curious if there's anything at all added for X or newer.

Did you end up flashing your unit? Which version? Do you experience intermittent black screen at startup? |

Great contributions here, thanks all.
Could I ask a newbie question please? How does one go about finding which version of software a headunit has or can support please? I’m asking because I want to upgrade from 2016 entrynav hardware to NBT EVO but while reading, it appears earlier versions of NBT evo (A to F) do not support CarPlay. Furthermore, a lot of the sellers (mainly salvage) don’t state these in the descriptions or simply don’t know, even when asked. Thanks in advance. |
