Wheels wheels wheels
Like pulling teeth to get a measly set of 441 ferric gray that are still in production. Probably in the same assembly plant. Found a pic of a 2015 F31 with the 441 ferric gray wheels Sign me up tomw if they can pull this off w/o costing me any extra $ Put a picture in a few

Get the wheels you want!!!!!
Cegledi, you are right about the wheels, the style of the 398 (flatness) and the Orbit Gray (to dark) is just not what I want.
If I am spending 50K plus and ordering then I better we'll get exactly what I want! I have seen postings on other forms where people order special car colors (5K), if that is true, switching from 398's to 441's Ferric Gray should not be a problem, they r just bolt on parts. They where on 2015 & 2016 F30/31 with track Handling package and they are presently in production on 2 & 4 series. All the clearances and offsets are the same for the 18"'s. Happy with price from this dealer, have history there also. Told Client Advisor (use to be salesperson)to get it done and will come I and order the car. He emailed me this evening saying they may, after all, be able to get them. They are waiting on final confirmation from BMW. That would make me Happy Happy!!!

Had a 14 without the track package and a 16 with. Its a no brainer. I hated the 14 and love the 16.
I got everything except driver assist. Really like the car, would rather have a 340i with a stick but they won't sell me one. Dinan Tune is next, otherwise the car is pretty much perfect for a daily driver.

Great choices. On the F31, M sport and track pack are the first two options I would have.
I think both wheels are nice. You are probably right the 441 are a bit better, but I wouldn't sweat it if they can't get it done. Make your best effort and enjoy. You can always change later if they just don't sit right with you. Oh, I will cast my vote for Glacier Silver. I don't really care for dark wheels on white cars. Also the white looks dirty so fast - silver is a little better I think. Enjoy! A very sweet ride.

Still can't decide on color if I have to go with the 398 dark gray wheel (almost black). Thinking silver would look better. Any thoughts

Just get whatever wheels they offer, then buy some used ones in the style/color you want afterwards. You can use the factory ones as your winter wheels.

I've got an f31 with track package. It's not an m sport bc I wanted med. blue. I was concerned about the 398's and planned to swap them. When the dealer couldn't get it done I decided to try them for a bit. Have to say they have grown on me and get a lot of compliments. They look cool with the m sport brakes. In my opinion 398's would look better with silver- more subtle contrast.

Thank you for the input. The car in silver is the only way I think the wheels would contrast well, much better than white. Sill can't believe that any color, other than Black and White is a $700 up charge. Like you said the more I look at them the more they grow on me.
I guess one thing about it is that you don't see them much. I personally have never seen them in person. Very good points thank you again. Love to see a picture of your car sometime.
