Much appreciated Sys.....If you can snap a closer photo it'll be good enough.

Coffees on me once it warms up and we can get a photoshoot going!

BTW. This is the description of the M performance brakes and calipers from the bmw.ca web site.

BMW M Performance 18'' brakes

Inner-vented, lightweight sport brake discs. Designed for extremely sporty driving and higher thermal challenges. Four-piston aluminium caliper on the front axle, two-piston aluminium caliper on the rear axle. Available in M Performance Red, M Performance Yellow or M Performance Orange. Includes coloured M logo.

Installation duration 3 hr 30 min

Available for 3 Series Sedan from 01/12,

3 Series Touring from 2012

The fact they are calling them 18" brakes would indicate to me that they are designed to work with their oem 18 inch rims, maybe snug, but I doubt they would call them 18" brakes and not have them fit 18 inch oem rims to BMWs satisfaction. I would imagine they would label them 19" brakes in that case.

Here is a picture of the space between rear and front caliper....I am sure you will be able to tell which is front and which is rear.

M Performance brake and 18" 400M style OEM wheel.

I have a question for you , I am thinking of getting a M performace edition and wondering whether you were able to negotiate the price? If you don't want to say any thing in the forum you can PM me.
Thanks

Yes, you are always able to negotiate price although you do have a lot less leverage when dealing with a limited edition vehicle.

btw, i thought all 200 M Performance Edition vehicles were spoken for already? They have them for sale in Calgary?

I don't think they are on the forum. I met them though. I convinced them to get that instead of a 435 and I heard they had it for less than a week. . How did you hear about them? Is that where you got yours from too?

Did you also order 400M wheels for winter or another set?

Most people that know me know that i have mild Obsessive Compulsive Behaviour which shows in almost everything i do. This is especially prevalent in my wheel selections.

I couldn't find any oem wheels i actually liked, so i went with this set after test fitting, ordering, test fitting, measuring and test fitting again. Much thanks again go to Darren at DC Motorwerks for having so much patience with me.

My main criteria was that the wheels had sufficient clearance, the offset had to be perfect as i DO NOT use spacers or advise anyone to do so, the centre bore would prefer to match my hubs as i also prefer NOT to use hub rings, and most importantly look good.

And after 2 weeks......here we go.

^^^ looks very sharp indeed...congrats! Do you mind sharing the wheel / tire specs? I still have my winter set from my old E90 (Style 189) and have been debating whether or not to use them for the F30. If I do, I'll probably end up powder coating them in semi gloss black or something.

I decided to run a square setup for winter

18x8.5 +34 offset with a 72.6mm centerbore

225/45R18 which gives me a -0.44% variance from stock.

The offset is slightly more aggressive than stock pushing the wheels approx 3mm more outwards.

Saw you yesterday morning turning from Betty Roman Blvd onto Woodbine bypass. I was behind you in the blue x1. Looks like we live in the same neighbourhood, Cathedraltown?

yes.....don't mind me if I flooring it. My usual morning start up sequence is "engine start""sport+""accelerator down" since I'm always late getting the kids to school.

This vehicle sure gets me there faster now .....I'll wave next time I see you!
