Getting BBS SR's...what size tires

about to pull the trigger on a set of BBS SRs. going with 18x8s to go away from my OEM staggered setup.

My question is about new tire size. Will also be installing H&R sports. Have 10mm spacers up front, 12 mm in rear. Thinking of going with a 215/45.

Any input?

Im thinking to get a square set SR 18x8 as my winter. Probably going with 225/45 as tirerack recommended.

That's oem sizing if you go with a square setup.

If you go with 215/45R18 then you'll be fine with those spacers though I'd suggest running the stock square size of 225/45R18. You may still be able to use the spacers. I use the SRs for winter with 225s and am lowered on KWV2s.

thanks. I was actually thinking 215/45, plus tires are cheaper. What I dont get is why everyone uses these as winters? I think they look fantastic and it isnt the same old VMRs or AGs that everyone else is rollin. Don't get me wrong, those wheels look good I just didnt wantto have the same thing everyone else has.

I think it's because they are fairly cheap (for BBS). My local tire place recommended that I use them as winter wheels too. Not sure why, since if I was to buy them, I'd make them my summers and use my stock as winters.
