3 series are much easier to get a bigger discount (lots of supply). 4 series not so easy unless you really push for your dealer (again demand & supply)

Your question is a little vague especially when expressed as a monthly payment for an outright purchase. So many variables: downpayment, loan term, interest rate, tax rate, model, options etc.
If it helps you for what it's worth I'm in Canada and in the past 10 months have LEASED two Bimmers both for 48 month terms. My wife's 320xi very basic @$600/mth taxes in. My soon to be here 435xi fully loaded @$1100/mth taxes in. Hope this helps. edit: 0 down on both. |

Total price is hard to gauge without knowing what options you want, but I'll try my best to help a fellow Canuck.
For my wife's 3 Series, we got it for dealership invoice pricing because it was new, but sitting on the lot left over from the previous year. There's a website to look up invoice pricing: www.unhaggle.com For my 4 Series, the total price was $1500 below MSRP which I thought was really good because it was a special order car including European delivery (ED). I emailed other dealerships across the country and no one would budge below MSRP for an ED car. The stealership even told me that they would discount it a minimum of $3000 more off of MSRP ($4500 total) if I didn't do ED because it was so much paperwork and hassle for them. Not sure if this is true, but they really seem to hate ED in Canada. They even have me a third option and said if I picked a car on the lot that they would do invoice pricing for me too. Unfortunately they didn't have any manuals on the lot so it was special order ED for me. So the synopsis is that if it's a car on the lot, invoice pricing via unhaggle is where I would set my sites. If it's special order etc, expect lower discounts.... |

2012 328i Luxury Line with Premium package. Purchased on April 18th 2012 on a 48 month lease at 4.9%.
$487.65 per month after taxes but this was with my E90 as a trade in and $1950 discount on MSRP.

Anyone using the car cost Canada invoice price thing to get a discount? Wonder if that still works.

i got my 2013 328xi metallic Balck, fully equip for $7100 off from MRSP includes free appearance protection plan (which is useless because nothing is covered under this plan). zero down but paid $6000 security deposit for a 48 month. lease rate at 0.9% at $556/mth (including tax). Im located in Vancouver BC. Try to get your car at the end of 2014 when the new 2015 cars are about to come out. This way, you can get more discounts! Hope this helps : )

I bought a 2013 335i X-Drive M-Sport in December 2013. It was the service managers demo car at the dealership and had a few thousand KM's on it. Options were:
Total MSRP was $63,500.00. I got a 10.2% discount from MSRP ($6480.00) for a total price of $57,020.00 + HST. I also negotiated the Certified Pre-Owned warranty into the sale as well at no additional charge, so on top of the 10.2% discount I have a bumper-to-bumper 6 year/160,000km new car BMW warranty. AND the dealer ate $4,500 in negative equity on the Audi A4 I traded in, without burying it into the 335i, which you could also calculate as additional discount on top of the 10.2% if you look at it that way. Last but not least, got 0.9% financing thanks to the BMW CPO program. I used the owners choice financing, $872 per month taxes in for 48 months with $24,xxx balloon payment at end. Was very happy with the deal in December, and still am now 9 months later. Steve @ Budds Hamilton is a good dude and I highly recommend him; he was hungry for my business and made the whole process as smooth a car purchase as I've had. |
