Difference between 335i brakes and m sport
Looking for info on what all is different between the stock 335i brakes and the $650 m sport option. I know that the optional brakes are blue in color. Is anything else different? If that is all it is, I would just paint them myself.

I feel for the OP. I just went through this forum looking for a clear answer to that same question above since I have a 335i Msport US Spec (no brake options). There are a ton of threads regarding M performance brakes but alot of mixed information due to there being several different vehicle specs and options from factory. The most useful post I found was this:
"I went with the M Performance Brakes after reading positive reviews from several board members. The early adopters of the M Performance Brakes reported a noticeable improvement over the stock setup. Although the front fixed 4-piston calipers used by the M Performance Brakes are identical to those that come with the Sport/M Sport Brakes, both the front and rear rotors are larger (the rotors are also dimpled and slotted). Furthermore, the single piston sliding rear calipers utilized by the Sport/M Sport setup are replaced by 2-piston fixed calipers with the M Performance setup. The M Performance Brakes have performed admirably for me thus far. The pedal feel is great. Fade resistance is also excellent. The fact that they look considerably better than the stock setup is just a sweet bonus." I don't remember who I am quoting but it painted out the differences for me very clearly. Hope this helps.
