That button by start stop is probably the assist feature where you can take your foot off the brake and have it on the gas and the car wont move

i think that may be the 1 series interior. Look how the instrument cluster "fits" inside there. That's not the real dashboard.

I'm not entirely sure that will look anything like the production interior, it looks too much like parts bin work to me. Look at how the A/C and Radio clusters both have clear borders - that looks like the sign of easy removal, and therefor just parts bin work.
On a (literal) side note, the side mirrors are a nice change from the dumbo ears from the LCI. |

That's the button of the stop-start system. Since it's not possible to permanently deactivate the system by the user, you have to deactivate it manually every time. So the button sits right there, for those drivers who don't like stop-start.

As with the F11 5-series, that button allows to turn off the start/stop feature.

When the engine is off because you've turned it off, the tach will sit at 'off'. When the engine is off because you've come to a stop, and the stop and go fuel saving is turned on, it will be "ready". As soon as you hit the gas the engine will fire up. (That's my assumption anyways)

My 2 cents on the F30 3er.
My e90 is already too big, why do we need a longer wheelbase? Unfortunately all cars, BMW's as well are getting Soooo Big and heavy! I am waiting for the new 1M to replace my e90 335i which feels so big and unresponsive to me compared to my 05 WRX STi. Longer wheelbases make for a very comfortable highway cruiser but take away from nimble performance feel. It's getting harder to find a good performance car these days for under 100K that doesn't weigh 2 tons or more. Red

I love the interior!!!! Everything about it.
From gear shifter, to gauges to radio buttons, a/c knobs, interior door clad, perfect driving wheel! I did not see a lot about the exterior but I like it less. Boring and not aggressive.

Most of the problems come from the "car critics in car magazines". Everytime they compare cars, they say: Car X is slightly bigger than car Y, it gives more room, legroom, trunk space etc... This is leading the car manufacturers to always offer a car that is bigger than the past generation. Which is misleading for the consumers. The old series 3 was as big as the current series 1. The current generation series 3 is as big as the old generation series 5 etc .... Audi A4 is bigger, A3 was introduced and this year the A1 is newly introduced to. WTH? Stick to your class and size? 10 years from now, the BMW series 7 will disappear and a new BMW series 0.5 will appear? Quote:
