Has anyone had a problem with xHP not shifting into 3rd gear when using launch control? I went to the track friday and It was my first time running BM3 stage 2 e30 on my xdrive 340. I had to abort my first pass because the car wouldn't shift into 3rd and I was just over 7k rpm, i confirmed again on my 2nd pass. On my third pass I tried to shift the car into 3rd and it wouldn't so I let off. On my 4th pass i just shifted from 2nd to 4th while letting off the gas and still ran a 12.9. That was my night. A few weeks ago I wasn't having any problems when i was just running BM3 stage 2+.

I did some street testing after reflashing xHP and setting the 3rd gear WOT shift point to 6200 and the car still wouldn't go into 3rd gear when using LC. When driving around normally at WOT I don't have a problem. It only seems to be happening when I use launch control. I'm stuck on what to do next. Am I missing something with the tq limits?

Weird! Never heard of our seen this but sounds like a ticket with xhp is in order. I hear their support is great.

I wonder what would happen if you tried launching on the stock map? That would potentially rule out xhp.

I'm about to do that today actually. It's very weird though, I had high hopes running e30 to get an 11.5 pass or better. Now i'm back to 93 and haven't tried LC yet through 3rd gear, maybe friday night i'll get back on the track.

I've been speaking to both xHP and BM3 about this. Going to run some logs this weekend if the weather holds out. We should be able to get to the bottom of this.

Still having problems even with xHP uninstalled completely. Here are some logs, first is in S mode with DSC completely off, you can see the car wouldn't shift into 3rd and i let off the gas. The second is in M mode with DSC completely off and I try to short shift 2nd at 6k rpm but it wouldn't go into third and i coasted for a second or 2 before the car actually shifts.

Me either but the guys at BM3 were saying the logs look fine. I'm still banging my head on the wall as i race almost every weekend.

Has anyone got this problem solved, I’m just starting to have the same problem on stage 3 when launching, car pulls hard from 1>2 and from 2>3 it just over revs and sounds like it missed its shift.
