I'd also add, in fact I did,HK sound, comfort access, and x Drive to get the power down and to get you home in adverse weather.
+ 1 on the HUD, it came with one of the packs on mine and I wasn't bothered about having it, then once I had used it, I realised I would need it on every future car I have 😁

HUD is a weird thing - if you have never had it, you just dont see the point. But, when you do have it......IT IS A MUST!!! (a bit like electric windows, central loclong, parking sensors......back in the day, who ever thought you needed them!)

On the HUD option, I agree with everyones comments, if you have never had it you don't get what the benefits are.

But if it is the right in front of you, you take advantage of it all the time, mine displays speed alerts, phone calls and best of all the navigation info.

IMHO, it's a must have, highly recommended.

Yeah, HUD with SLD is great. Can't do without that, ACC or Adaptive headlights tbh.

I recommend considering the leather instrument panel. Makes a big difference to the interior. Really takes it up a notch - and smells lovely!

+1 for HUD when my broke I realised how much I missed it ( the week before warranty ran out as well ? ). And buy the diffuser etc off EBay and save some cash.

Apart from the Mk1 eyeball. I have ACC, use it about 2% of the time, waste of money. As for the HUD, it is epically useful. I test drove a Macan the other week and whilst I didn't struggle without it I certainly missed it. That said, it's a bit pointless without SLD.

And a trigger is never pulled it's always squeezed. In controlled conditions of course..

How is it pointless without SLD? I have it with and without SLD and without it still tells me all the other useful information, best of which I find to be the nav arrow directions.

Well it's not really pointless without it, my bad. I think that it's utility is exponentially increased by the addition of SLD, particularly when overseas.

The main purpose is to let the car have the sense of forward traffic, stick to the front car without worrying of its speed variations and prevent unseen slowdown risks.

You can drive miles without touching the brakes, only modulating with the accelerator to limit slowdown or anticipate the acceleration.

It's not a pointless gadget :considering my roads, if think it was probably on 70% of time on my previous 330D. The first automatic thing I do when I start driving is to activate it, and that's the first mindless option I checked on my coming 335D.

Trigger pulled/squeezed/whatever....

And....HUD added....I hate this forum lol!

Went for black Dakota....but so tempted to get Coral red like my old E92....

Anyone any decent recommendations on rear spoiler and diffuser? Dealer (Belfast) looking £1,000 for parts and fitting....I am sure aftermarket parts are decent?

I've had HUD in the past, back in 2011 on an Audi A7 and I just found it distracting and had it switched off most of the time, I've never bothered adding it to another car since. It's not essential just a gimmick, just my personal opinion
