Coding cable and ESYS, psdzdata

Hi everyone, I am a total noob to all this! I just got a CPO 2015 F30(VIN-NS76409), manufactured date of 03/2015, I was looking to upgrade the 6.5 to 8.8 screen.The car does not have inbuilt navigation, but has radio.I had a few questions before I proceed with the upgrade, any help will be much appreciated.Thanks

1. Can i just swap my old screen with new 8.8 screen and use it with just coding via esys? I have read there are two codes

HU_NBT > 3000 HMI > DISPLAY_SIZE_RESOLUTION = 8.8_1280x480
HU_NBT > 3001 EXBOX > DISPLAY_VARIANTE = breites_display

-Can someone please guide me how to do it via esys.

-I have the enet cable and have installed vmware and esys software from the website on my laptop.

-I Have never done coding before, but I have been reading about it and watching videos, it seems quite complicated and confusing to me.

Any help will be much appreciated. Thank you.

Connect => Read FA (VO) => Activate FA (VO) => Read SVT (VCM) => Right-Click on the HU_NBT CAFD and select Read Coding Data => Expand the CAFD Folder by clicking + symbol => Right-Click on the CAFD file and select Edit => Edit CAFD as desired (2 FDL Codes you listed) => Click the Blue Floppy Disc Icon to Save CAFD => Click the green back arrow icon => Right-Click on the CAFD file => Select FDL CODE.

Thanks for the quick reply Shawn, I was trying to run ESYS via VMWARE and got a message saying date or time manipulation detected. I browsed through forums and found out that ill need to install ESYS without VMWARE.I was able to find the following files online

1)ESYS setup 3.31.0-50446.exe
2)ESYS launch premium setup 2.8.0_build_143.msi
3)ESYSplus2.8
4)PsDzDATA lite V 63.3

On the ESYS website, I was able to find installation instructions, which are very vague...can you please guide me on how to install ESYS. Thanks a ton.

I'm new here.
I bought a BMW for 3 weeks ago, but I really miss the shifting paddles on this car. After some search I bought them on Ebay for a reasonable price.
Now I'm reading a lot to try myself learning coding the car.
I have also bought a cable already.

May I please also have the latest Esys and pszdata?
