Off the top of my head. Taking out the 500k made it a lot nicer. I think I got these from that guy who had a whole thread about the HK stereo.
Bass & Treble = 0 Surround = On 100k = +4 500k = -5 All others, around 0 (either +/- 1) |

No setting on the EQ anymore (the job is being taken care of by an Alpine DSP now) but I fiddled with it a TON in the 6 weeks I had the car before this week's marathon audio upgrade. I was unable to find any settings that did a great job for high volume and low, so ended up making adjustments on the fly a lot. The HK isn't bad like the HiFi, but if I had stuck with it I would likely have continued with the on-the-fly adjustments based on what artist I was playing and how loudly I expected to run it on each particular trip.

Last month I helped my Aunt place an order for a 428i GC. I placed the order for her on May 16th. Since it's not my car I rarely call in to get a status update.
Its been about 2 weeks since I called and today I find out her car arrives June 30th to port, so first week of July for delivery. 1 1/2 months compared to my 4 months and 1 week lol

My CA told me the other day that someone ordered a 340i a month after me and received it the day after I took delivery. |

Fully detailed my car and protected it with cquartz.
Took over 10 hours in the Miami Heat and humidity but it's done. The specs you see aren't dirt but the metallic flakes.

Need moar pics! I haven't fully dialed in my car yet, mainly because it's been sitting outside (garage is being redone). I should be able to start correcting it within a week or so.

Got very lucky that it didn't rain at all this weekend so cquartz should be in good shape. Very excited for this weekend to see how much easier it is to wash my car now!

I would apply it but I think at this point it would be over kill. I have the following, 1 layer of essence 2 layer of cquartz 1 layer of reload I plan on getting a bottle though and trying it out on my girlfriends car.

My car is going to the dealership Wednesday for a check engine light (again). NOT happy. If you're bored and care to know the details, check out the thread I had with the whole gas tank nonsense. |

Just wanted to give an update on my 340i. I've been contemplating getting a Jb4 even before my car arrived but decided not to for many reasons. Come last week, I saw the post for the Jb+ and placed an order on the spot. Here are my thoughts on it.
Received and installed JB+ today. Came set at about 12 o'clock, set it up to MAX before install. Initial Impressions: -Very noticeable gains in power, even here in hot South Florida (85F). Will Test again tomorrow morning (65F), assuming it will be even more noticeable. -Definitely do a couple of high 2nd-3rd-4th gear pulls to get the system adapted. Noticed more boost after 2-3 pulls. -You can hear the turbo spooling much sooner and to a much higher RPM -Daily driving, as far as I can tell, will be unchanged. I will test highway cruising to see if MPG is affected at constant speed. Cons: -Requiring a small Philips head screwdriver & over torqued screws made changing the settings a headache. -Set to MAX before first install and got a Drive Train Malfunction on first pull. Turned off the car, kept setting at MAX, have yet to get another DTM. I'm hoping this was because didn't have time to adapt yet, if I get another I'll dial it down to ~4PSI. I've gotten 2 DTMs pre tune so I'm not too worried. Overall: The JB+ is exactly what I was looking for. Cheap, easy to install/remove, invisible and a very noticeable power increase. I loved the Jb4 on my 135i, but with the ECU fuel cap, BMW cracking down on tunes, and being more than double the cost, I couldn't justify it this time around. Assuming I don't run into any issues, I would recommend everyone go out and get one.

Finally ruled out the BMW mPPsk for the fact that it's meh gains on a manual and it's really paying for a louder exhaust that I don't really want
