New Shoes for my F32 435i M Sport

Got my wheels from Eric at Nitrous Garage last week, and the weather in boston finally cleared up, so here are some quick pictures.

Wheels are 20" Stance SC8 Powder Coated Satin Black.
I know some of you aren't a fan of the black on black look, but it was a vison i had for my car since i ordered it. Hence don't hate please.

That said, i wanna do a quick shoutout to Eric @ nitrousgarage for his amazing customer service that is by far one of the best i have encountered. He was very knowledgeable and accommodating with my requests, updating me throughout the order process, especially when the wheels went off to powder coating. Best part, the wheels came out perfect, and i even got all wheels road forced balanced so well that only ONE wheel had weights on. Eric!

Now to the pictures:

Nice, I'm getting my 20s tomorrow. I'm from boston and I'm going for the black on black too. Hopefully I'll bump into you sometimes.

Ps. You get any issues with no front plates? So many cops in our city

Nice! I actually have a front plate on. It's the retractable one that goes into my radiator grill via remote. If you look closely you can kinda see it.

How you like the front lip? I'm still debating if it's worth it for $1400. But definitely considering now since it looks so nice on your car.

I'm a little scared of doing the front lip because I'm on h&r sport springs and the streets and ramps in boston are horrible.

Oh yea. That would be low! I actually never had an issue with my cars ride height as is. But a valet took a ramp too quick and swiped the underneath. Fortunately it was caught on my in car camera and am in the midst of claiming their insurance company for a new one.

Haha yea, i used to valet my car all the time but I'm probably not going to valet it anymore with the springs and when my rims are on

More impressed that you managed to find places to park in the Financial District than the wheels

It's like ... how much more black could it be, and the answer is ... none.

I'm not generally a fan of really aggressive mods, but that's just nice.

Looks great! Does the retractable plate track stick out past theh bumper on yours? I bought one for my 435xi M-Sport and it would stick out about an inch, which on an Alpine White car would look weird.

Also interested in who you got your retractable plate setup through - and how you (or someone else...) mitigated the front mesh/grille to give the retracted plate clearance to tuck under. My AW F32 will ideally have a retractable plate, but I want to minimize the clutter; to Steve's point, nowhere to hide with AW...

Thanks!

Haha, it was actually outside john hancock, which isn't really in the financial district, but right off boylston and clarendon street.

I did the install myself, and not really an inch sticking out, but more like half an inch, i installed it so that i was a finger's width away from the radiator. Its really not that hard, i used a pair of pliers to cut out the mesh, and used a dremel to clean up the uneven edges, then tapped the power the same way the JB4 stage 2 is tapped, and everything else is just about proper marking, pilot holes, and the right tools.

I wouldn't see how it would look any worse on a white car because it mounts underneath, and at most you could just paint that 1/2 inch white as well.
