Exhaust valve 328i
Dr. Christophe Lutterman of BMW said that the actuation of the valve varies with the driving mode control.
I disconnected the valve in my car and wired it in the open position. This only made a slight difference so I did some additional exhaust modifications to make it louder. |

It is very easy to disconnect. The actuator is linked to the valve by a spring clip. You just have to remove the spring clip. Then either tie the valve stem or glue it in the open position.
