No, besides BMW Apps requiring an FSC Code, CHAMP2 is not capable of BMW Apps.

No, but they’re not all that anyway! I play spotify over BT instead of apps as it’s so unreliable.

I've just bought 2013 msport with a professional HU non nav, will I be able to get extended Bluetooth coded on to it? I take it the only way I can listen to audio from my iphone 7 at the moment is by using the y lead from bmw? Tried just an aux cord and it sounds terrible

When I get home I will check the boot for a com box

Non nav that age will not be able to code ebt i'm afraid. BMW y cable is the same as an aux lead, the usb part is just so you can skip tracks from the steering wheel buttons.

Well currently I can't even get it to play music from my iPhone lol.

to be honest I want it be able to play and control my Spotify app or my music library on my phone, the car I traded i installed a £100 head unit and it had Bluetooth capabilities to control my Spotify app and make phone calls hands free, my 1 series (e87) has a business head unit that's about as modern as the arc so when I found out my 320 was fitted with a professional HU with Bluetooth I was very happy till I started trying to use the bloody thing and finding out it's not any really better than my 1 series business HU.

I take it I will need to retro fit something like this to have the features I want.....

Basically yes, if you want to avoid aux sound, as the only way you can get iphone sound into your current setup is via aux.

Watch out with those professional nav systems from europe though as most of them don’t have DAB (although not sure if you currently have DAB). Also they really need someone that properly knows what they’re doing to fit them, best to speak to vorph

The car currently has a DAB radio, so basically keep an eye out for a uk version with DAB? Also when you say aux sound, do you mean the horrifically tinny sound? Is this a characteristic of the f30? Using the aux lead to play my iPhone through the stereo in my 1 series sounds the same if not better than a cd

Yes, expect to pay more for a DAB one though.

If your F30 aux sounds worse than your 1 series with the same phone and same lead then I don?t know what?s going on. Definitely worth trying a top quality gold plated aux lead as they?re only a few quid.

Are you aware if it's possible to get information about the servers (urls) which the car's ECU uses to get data for the weather app, RTTI and others?

I'm checking if this addresses can be obtained somehow and possibly changed to other values.

I tried to find anything like that in CADL data without any luck. It looks more like typical coding is setting things from active to non active and vice versa.

I'm looking for more advanced settings in this case.
