DPF p2002 error code with no performance issues?

I am hopong someone can help. I recently had a bad injector on my F30 diesel 3 series but no warning light which is strange. This was fixed, but the very next day, and ever since, I have a warning light w/ P2002 error code (which indicates a DPF issue). I have noticed NO change in performance (fuel economy, power, rough starting, etc).

So far, BMW has changed the exhaust temperature sensor and NOX sensor(s). Still no luck. I am hesitent to replace the actual DPF especially because the car is acting normally, and doing so is very expensive. Any ideas what could be happening? Backpressure sensor? Or could it really be DPF?

I ended up replacing the DPF ($$$). No warning light, and normal driving performance for 3 months. However, now, 3 months later, I received codes P20EE and P207F including the dreaded, "incorrect fluid, no start in 200 miles code". Dealership wants to replace catalytic for $2500. I instead used cat cleaner from auto parts store, and the code went away after 40 miles of driving. Also my fuel economy improved dramatically. I hope it stays this way. I think when my injector failed, it spewed raw diesel through the emissions system and screwed up a lot of things. As of now, the vehicle seems to be okay.
