You're right most rims are prone to rash but what I found with these specific rims was that they're overly soft. You cam even feel that by touching them. There's this soft coating in it which is too fragile for a rim IMO. Most of the damage to the rims were done by falling into pot holes interestingly. Enjoy the car, as I said before it's a beautiful combo and doesn't get old on you...

I agree, my X5 has it and it helps with parking absolutely..
