I agree with that statement. ER and ATM are showing the best results.
There is no way in doing a 100% fair comparison unless you get the same car and install both intercoolers. Try it the same day and the same condition.
You also need to make sure that you give it time to heatsoak.
Posting a log on the highway and comparing it to someone that posted a log after the car was at full stop 20 seconds ago is not a fair comparison.

All IC data regardless of manufactor, always seems partial to their product, and each missing pieces of data. It would be nice to see boost pressure loss, IAT (equal condition to stock), flow bench, and maybe recovery rate. Showing a short favoable piece of data amounts to nothing real. I ran on the autobahn at constant speeds above 120mph, and noted a significant improvement in iat and calculated torque over stock-with rev9.

We show the turbo outlet temps, pressure drop and ait drop vs stock in several parameters on our GB thread, the test was done on a base tune 328i. Our data graphs are from a datalogger using dedicated and calibrated ait and pressure sensors, we tested the intercooler same day and nearly identical ambient temps on the same stretch of road with similar coolant and starting ait temps. Since our intercooler has a very low heat rise-recovery back to starting temp is also very fast, pressure drop was also improved over stock...
Heres a link where you can see the various datalogs:

I wouldnt mind putting a new IC on my stock car, the temps in FL now are already mind 90's and I can feel the car being a bit sluggish in the heat.

Even a stock car would benefit from an FMIC but if you are going to go that far you mine as well throw a tune on it too
