Well I'm late to the party.
I suggest you get whatever car you're happy with P1 Pet? Most here have bought or lease the car of their choice and have made some balances and compromises. So folks have a 440i rather an M2 due to additional space and availability of some options that are very useful to them in a DD family car that is also sporty and fun to drive if in the mood. Loads of your points are spot on Re interiors and other areas of BMW vs The Competition critique but there is no 'perfect brand' or 'perfect car'. |

So it probably doesn't feel a lot quicker than a 430i coupe tbh. Try a 440i coupe and get back to us.

0.4 secs faster than the vert. Or to put it another way... So it probably doesn't feel a lot quicker than a 440i convertible tbh. |

I'm wondering what P1 PET is basing his experience of fast on? I.e real world quick or 'done a test drive of a load of cars'. Or maybe he's just comparing it to cars he's driven on Forza or Grand Turismo?
Again, I'm not entirely sure on what his requirements for a vehicle are. I'd like to see this thread get to 15 pages by Friday night because it will certainly give us a hat-trick |

dopper99 Oh may be that's the reason...I didn't bother testing the 340i, just don't need 4 doors.
Thanks mate, i'll try Coupe version this time. And what's the fuel economy of 40i like? I have done exactly 24000 miles today but only returns me 28.4 mpg. Last edited by P1 PET; 02-09-2017 at 04:43 PM.. |

Please take it a bit easy on me. I bought this 4 cylinders F30 many months before i even passed driving test.
This is my 1st car and didn't know about much BMW like Pro Nav or Angel Eyes etc at that time to be honest. |

Ok, confusedtofuck.com now. You've added that you wish to have great mpg too? May I suggest visiting the Tesla website. Tesla S Lack of exhaust sound? No probs, just get a load of these and nail them under the boot; Get this: SuperCar Sounds and play them to the speakers. Buy some of this to close off the rear doors: And Bobs your fucking Uncle. |

Rukka I was expecting 440i engine to be a little bit loud when idle like c43 or 718.
Also i realised 440i convertible being 480 kg heavier than cayman, that's a lot of weight. Last edited by P1 PET; 02-09-2017 at 07:38 PM.. |

And if Mr Pet suggests the car doesn't push you back in your seat, then he was pushing the wrong pedal whilst dreaming of different coloured LEDs lighting the interior.
