bms stage 1 320i

Hi,

Im thinking about installing bms stage 1 to my f30 320i (all stock).

Will the torque gain also reach at 1250 rpm and flat to 5k rpm like stock 320i?

( I am using octane 91 fuel)

I read somewhere that power delivery in stage 2 is smoother like stock power. But I don't dare to tap wires as needed in stage 2.
Will BMS make a full plug and play socket for stage 2 like it is on stage 1?

Thanks,

I say get Stage 2, if you are not comfortable doing the install take it to a mechanic (50$ job) or just get a local enthusiast to help you install it for free.

Thanks Mike,

I like stage 2 but worry about needing to tap can wires.
a. Will the wires be okay if I uninstall and reinstall about 2 or 3 times a year for services?
b. Do you have picture of the can wires after uninstallation of stage 2?

Stage 1 is safer by only using plug and play socket.. IMO..

Btw, if I run octane 91 (92 RON) .. is it safe to use BMS? Or should I go with 95RON.. it is the max RON that I can get locally.

Cheers

You are good to uninstall it as many times as you like.
If you feel it is going to be a lot of trouble, just go with stage 1 it will give you a nice increase in boost.
As for the octane, as long as your fuel equals 91 octane you can use BMS products.
