I found this code in the swedish configurator, and the number 420 stands for "tinted side windows and rear window". I dont think you have this code in USA, maybe only europe.

I was thinking more along the lines of an Amsterdam only option. You guys are too serious.

Re: Sports Line, are you reading the pricing guide to indicate that all 9 combinations of interior trim and trim finishers are available, i.e., wood trim with either black gloss, red or chrome finishers, etc.?

Not to beat a dead horse, but am I understanding that the updated iDrive will NOT be on the 2013 335i? or since it was brought up in the first post that it will be on the 2013 iDrive made after July 2012. Thanks

But then, I've seen red in blue and it's not as bad as my imagination makes it.
It's very...ummm...striking. It's one of those combo's that initially looks kinda interesting, maybe cool, but I don't think I could live with it beyond a few days.

I went to Bimmerfest at the Rose Bowl last weekend and I saw an E46 M3 that was Laguna Seca blue with some kind of red interior (not coral). It was ummmmmmm..... interesting. Not horrible, but like you said, after a few days I'd be over it.

There is a yellow Z06 Corvette with red leather - nicknamed the Ronald McDonald car. The dealer had to override the order sheet and receive full advance payment to get it built.

Anybody know if U.S.-bound MY2013 will have "BMW Individual" color options such as Tanzanite Blue (color code X10) and Moonstone (X04)?

Are there any changes to the packages for my13? Perhaps they differ too much between the different areas.

Question about Extended Merino Leather Interior

When BMW starts taking USA "Individual Program" orders for the F30 (hopefully in July), I will try to get my dealer to order the "Extended Merino Leather Interior" described on page 28 of the attached German price list for July 2012. By all recent statements from BMWNA as published in this forum, we should be able to order any "Individual" paint color, interior, or trim available elsewhere in the world -- through the BMWNA individual program. We'll see. . .

For the M Sport, Individual Extended Merino Leather is a Euro 2750 option in Germany including Value-Added Tax (Euro 1080 premium over standard Dakota leather). Euro 1080 would normally equate to a USA premium of about $1400 over standard leather, about double the price, assuming that BMW prices it fairly.

My question is this:

Besides the switch to a different leather type, does anyone know specifically which additional surfaces are real leather on the F30 "extended" leather option?

Anyone know whether the M Sport brakes will be painted blue in the US/Canada (apparently we get the exact same M Sport config as US does)?

Sure, here is a link from an April 2011 interview with Matt Russell, BMW North America M Manager, and a quote from that interview:

BMW INDIVIDUAL

Question:

Is it more difficult to have BMW Individual paints or trims ordered in the US, compared to Europe? Can you please explain the proper ordering process? Are there any limitations?

Response:

All BMW Individual options available to European markets are available to North American customers. Ordering is available through every one of BMW's dealers. There's an order form dealers can put together for customers interested in having Individual work done. The dealers submit that order form old fashioned style (via fax) or they can scan and e-mail it to BMWNA's automotive sales department where there is a contact who receives individual requests and special orders all day long. That contact has a bridge directly to Germany and she'll find out how long it'll take to do whatever the customer is requesting, and she'll reply to the dealer with the timeframe and the price. If the customer is satisfied with the response, they can then go ahead and order the car. Individual is most popular on the 7-series and the M3 and is growing in popularity.

Just make sure your dealer knows about the special order form. If they don't have it or don't know about it, it's available via a quick e-mail to the BMWNA automotive sales department, which every dealer knows how to get in touch with.

The only limitation is what can the factory actually do. For example, Leipzig is not able to do Individual orders yet, but this may change some day in the future (so models produced there, such as the 1M coupe are not able to be ordered currently with Individual colors or options).

Why are they continuing the E92/E93 for another model year? Is the F32 not ready?
