It can be heard at idle and parking lot speeds, but nothing insane. Certainly if the radio is on even quietly or if you’re cruising down the road it definitely can’t be heard at all."

Even if it is "normal" meaning it functions correctly I'm not ok with that level of noise. It's super annoying.

Here's a other video from inside

Did you find the issue with the pump? I just installed my DS25 pump and have the same issue!

Ditto

Mine is louder than this even. I don't run the insulation foam anymore but I have gotten used to the noise. It's normal with the revised edition of the pump. There is however something called "breaking pulse tuning" that can be done to quiet the pump down some.

I just reached out to dorch and the say that noise in the cabin should be quite minimal if anything. I currently have the oem foam on the motor aswell as motor cover.. I will try running some logs

I have dorch s2, I hear nothing from inside or outside the car, I have the foam under engine cover and bought their pump when it was first released. I’ve heard the pump with no foam and engine cover and it was loud, but with them on I hear zip.

The newest version of the pump definitely makes more noise than the first generation. It's a mechanical clicking type noise that rises and falls based on throttle inputs. It's normal and eventually it just fades into the background as your rpm's climb.. The newer version was able to max out my OEM injectors quite easily on E50 with my DAW UF turbo. Rail pressure has been rock solid throughout the entire rev range. I can't recommend this product enough if you are looking to significantly improve your fueling levels for a larger turbo.

Man I bought my first gen like 3 months before the updated version released. Got unlucky.
