Traffic report volume

How can you turn down the traffic report volume, I am aware to turn down the volume on hearing the report to the desired setting but it gives me such a shock on the next again I would have thought the car would remember the setting, any advice?

YOu mean the RDS traffic from the local radio?

I think its when the report is on you can set it. However i sat in the car for 20 mins waiting on one from my station and it didnt happen so I am still trying to figure it out.

Yes RDS traffic reports, I have set the level whilst listening to a report but the next report on the same journey is at full volume again which gives me a shock every time, car doesn't seem to remember the last volume setting.
