ArmorAll Wheel Protectant Discontinued?

Just had a bitter sweet ordeal. Mostly bitter. Went to Advance auto and asking why I can't ever find the AA wheel protectant. This stuff is great for keeping brake dust down on the m-sport brakes.

I spotted a big bottle behind counter. Advance Auto employee scanned the item and said it has been discontinued! NOOOOOOOOO! I ask if I could buy the one bottle, but he gave to me free of charge and said they aren't allowed to sell. Also bought Walmart out of the two bottles they had on the shelf.

Guess I'll find some sort of wax if it is true. Anybody else love this stuff? Is it discontinued?

Never been a fan of Armor All.

Chemical Guys WAC303 will do the trick.

But if you really insist on Armor All, that exact product is sold on Amazon.

I'll give that a shot when I run out... given the manufacturer, it is likely a better product.

I used "wipe new" on my wheels about 8 weeks ago. Great product!! Had about a dozen rain storms and I've washed the car/wheels twice a week since then. The dirt, grime and brake dust don't sick as much and it washes off with a quick spray. Water beads off the wheels. I also purchased the "wipe new tires" and applied it the same day, but it hasn't lasted quite as long. I no longer have to use any wheel cleaner sprays before washing.

I still find it at the store. I do not think it has been discontinued.

Remembering this thread I took a look last time I was at a local automotive store here and saw a full supply on the shelf so it's definitely not been discontinued.

Try finding UV-2. Manufactured by Hollenger. Its the best I've ever used on tires. Spray on a wax applicator, wipe on..go around car twice.. put applicator in zip lock bag for next time. Keep using same applicator for about 6 months.....leaves tires nice and black with low sheen. Does not sling off tires and does not attract dirt.
