I don't think I can wait til then. Thoroughly bored of my current Volvo and it'll need tyres and brakes by then probably.

320xd or 330xd auto instead perhaps

Garage List
  • 325d M Sport Manual, £33,210, BIK 19%, combined 57.6mpg, 0-62 6.8s, 50-75 (4th) 5.3s, CO2 129g/km
  • 328i M Sport Manual, £32,395, BIK 20%, combined 44.1mpg, 0-62 5.9s, 50-75 (4th) 5.4s, CO2 149g/km

Interesting choice.

PS - What's even more interesting is that the 330d M Sport saloon matches the 325d's combined mpg figure of 57.6 (presumably driven like for like).

The figures for the 328i look really appealing to me. Im surprised the 50-75mph time is virtually the same for both the 325d and 328i. Actually the 328i will be quicker as ideally you would do that in 3rd gear.

Still a difficult choice to choose between the two.

A friend has the previous 325d. He is not impressed with it in terms of economy and performance against the 320d. He will change to the 320d next time.

That was the 3.0 6 cylinder though wasn't it? So you can't really compare economy to the newer 2.0 4 cylinder 325D.
