When is F30 2014 allocation given? I have F30 2013 (got good incentives) that was schedule for production by June ... but that's when 2014's start I thought?

I talked to my CA today about a F32 allocation. He said they had some people with allocations reserved w/ a $500 deposit. Expected delivery is September.

I'm very tempted to put down the deposit to hold an allocation since my 1-series lease is up in early October. However, I'm worried that I'll basically have to pay ~MSRP since there will be such high demand. Does anyone have experience with this process? Do you think this will be the case? Under what conditions is the deposit refundable?

Paying near MSRP on a F32 vs. an equally priced F30 at almost invoice is going to be a tough sell for me. Almost $100 more per month.

In most state a deposit on a car is refundable by law.

Pricing will depend in a big part on your relationship with your dealer. A dealer might be more open to agreeing to discount a car for a repeat client that also uses the dealership for service than someone from out of the area who they are not likely to see again.
