Review: HP Autowerks Performance Air Filter

Harold@HPA sent us their drop in filter awhile ago for us to try out. Was going to write up a review awhile ago but just been swamped lately with N20 parts development.

Quality of the part is top notch.

Foam filter element. I like foam filters. Should see good flow through this.

Installation was a breeze. All you need is a flat head screwdriver and 5 minutes you're done.

As for performance, there is an improvement. Car feels smoother through the RPM band. Throttle response seems a tad crispier. My butt dyno says there's a tad bit more torque with the panel filter. You can also slightly hear the factory diverter valve if you're into that kind of stuff.

I think a great upgrade from the factory paper panel. Great choice if you want to keep the factory intake box and not have a cone filter. 2 thumbs up!
