Hi peoples,
I'm looking for an app made for the android, Galaxy S4, that is compatible with BMW Apps. please help me put an end to this confusion since people say there isn't really an app and some say there is an app.

Since your car is a 2014 model, it should work

it might work on the G S4 but it doesn't on my HTC One.. I can send & receive emails though

BMW Connected App works with my Samsung S4 and 2014 328i; it basically with your phone connected to the USB in the center console and only gives you access to your phone's calendar, RSS news feeds (that you have to preload) and NONE of the other Apps that our iPhone brethren can get.

Regardless, I always keep my phone Bluetooth paired with the car so I can still use hands-free and my phone's contact list.

The one question I have is, displaying the phone's EMail on the iDrive; all I can see are text & service (the MyInfo stuff coming from Google maps)messages. Have just upgraded my phone to Android 4.4.2 (KitKat) and read somewhere that I should be able to read EMails on iDrive -- have updated my iDrive Telephone software from TN.002.017.007 to TN.002.018.018, using update UPD05021

M-Sport. Two questions, if I may. First, what version of Android on your phone? What version of telephone software on your iDrive?

Can anyone help -- again, trying to get my EMails on the iDrive?

Does anyone know how I can get the APK of that App posted? It won't let me download it, but I can side load it if I have the APK.

I have Android 4.1.2 but I have an HTC One (not Galaxy S4). I think I read somewhere that the HTC One and Galaxy S4 have different functionality/compatibility with our cars in the US. For example, I cannot download the BMW Connected app on my HTC One, and as far as I remember you cannot use email on the Galaxy S4.. Weird.

That's the one, I can't download it but I'm sure if I had the APK it will/might work.

Please see attached for Jan 24 version of My BMW Remote, v1.8. I named it a PDF file so I could post it. After you download, please rename to .APK; then install.

Let us know how you fare -- I haven't been able to use it in US and have contacted BMW USA several times and keep getting, ""we're working on it."

This requires a BMW vehicle with a production date of July 2013 or later, equipped with the special feature 'Apps' or 'ConnectedDrive Services' (varies according to model and market). The following models, which were also produced after July 2013, are excluded: 1 Series Convertible, 1 Series Coupé, 3 Series Convertible (model from 2010), X1 (model from 2009), X5 (Model from 2006), X6 (model from 2008) and Z4 (model from 2009).
