Look for highline or innovations package,M sport and sportline apart from being different visually have different steering wheel, the m sport has a very nice sporty nappa leather 1 which I recommend ( same as m3,m6 etc ).

Don't think the M-sport has nappa leather?

Sounds like a very good deal. What was the advertised price on carsales if you don't mine me asking.

I'm expecting delivery of mines this week, can't wait. Ordered 3 months ago so it's been a very long wait and have had no car either so that's making it even worse!

...don't mind at all.
Carsales posted price for that demo was ~$75,600.
I'd just spoken to another dealer about some similar specced cars, but they were Premium Selections, and he very quickly dropped to $64-67k. So I just rang the first guys and went in low.
Like I said, been watching this for a long time and there is a lot of stock, so if you see a demo online for a while they will probably give you a good deal. I just missed on one identical to mine that was advertised at $65k! (But with 6000kms).

Hi all.

Very fresh on these forums.

After looking around at cars to replace my current lease car, I settled on a F31 328i M-Sport.

I was originally looking at car sales seeing ex demo M-Sports for around 70-75k but managed to get a pretty good deal from a dealer (friend connection) and have the following en-route.

328i Touring in Alpine White
M-Sport package
Innovations package
Bi Xenons headlights
Panoramic Sunroof
Pro Nav/Audio etc as per MY14UG F31 spec.

Price I ended up being $73k drive away with 4 years free servicing, 4 year warranty (to cover the 4 year finance). That's a new car which just arrived (dealer found one on the boat which matched my minimum package option requirements).

Must say I'm looking forward to it after driving a 328i M-Sport demo for a week.

Looks like a good wealth of knowledge on this site. Will be back frequently.

Wow..congrats FengTao that sounds like a great deal for a Touring!
You know I neeeearly went for the Touring as well (for the family). Such an awesome alternative to an SUV, looks great and drives just like the F30!

Thanks Chuckbuster. Yeah from what I could find in demos I thought the price was very competitive.

I love the cargo space but not the ride height of a suv so this should suit perfectly.

Really looking forward to getting it now. After driving a f30 for a week, it made my car feel very ordinary.

Cheers
Feng.

Great price. I got almost exactly the same for $82k (factory order) with a few more options but not enough the justify the gap. Active cruise, DAB, HK, extended BT, connected drive freedom. I was thinking the handling was a bit dull until I got it onto something twisty last weekend no doubts now!

Isn't extended BT standard now? Do AU spec cars come with the connected drive too? I find the forums (being so fresh on them) confusing as heck with the different regions and options available for them.

Thanks for that. Will make sure when I speak to them. My one coming was fresh off the boat this month, so i assume it'd be there.

Cheers for the reply.

Might have to ask them. You apparently get some basic stuff standard then need to choose a package (or I think you can subscribe to individual features):

RTTI is quite good.

Does anyone know how to tell the difference between MY13/MY13.5/MY14 models on the F30s?
- i.e. does the VIN number have a specific character?
