Any issues with installing Dinan springs on a 328xi and factory warranty?. I've read some people have issues with the struts failing after lowering the car.

Short answer is if you have any issues with the springs/bumpstops Dinan or BMW will cover the problem. I don't recall any strut failures with a Dinan suspension but I could be mistaken.

Well, this is a gray area because a strut is wear item. There's definitely some area of overlap between what is failure and what is wear.

I would imagine that any spring with an increased spring rate will wear a OE strut out faster.

From what I recall it mostly comes from the people who lower their car using H&R (possibly specifically super sport springs ).

Any particular reason H&R springs cause issues? are they dropped lower than Dinan springs?, or does it have something to do with spring rate as mentioned in the post above.

I have the extended maintenance plan on my 328xi, up to 100k miles or 6 years, would struts be covered?.

They do drop lower than the Dinan Springs (this is why I went with Dinan) and it could have to do with spring rate. Please note I'm no expert on this subject which is why I listen to the manufacturers and sometimes distributors because they go through the most testing/trail and error.

Exactly what I've read.
The H&R sport drop the same as the Dinan (Super Sport drops lower).
Seems like the Dinan uses bigger spring material, so that would be the reason why they fit better with OE shocks.

Saw on another post a guy who tested the Dinan, H&R and Eibach, and he's the reason I went with Dinan.

Should be installed in 2 weeks with the Dinan bump stops, the new 20" wheels and the new brakes

Note: If anyone has DHP I HIGHLY recommend you also go with Dinan's Shockware upgrade.

+1, been waiting for a while, if this keeps up i may just have to say screw it and go for coils since most people are complaining about the bounciness and harshness of H&Rs.

I wouldnt do hr for same reasons. And also don't want to loose adaptive suspension. There was a press release yesterday with dinan releasing coil over springs for m3/m4. Those and dinan shockware would have been perfect for my 435.
