Here's my car for proper comparison:

Holy shit...my thoughts exactly. Lol

What a bad example. Personally the F30 still hasn't grown on me (which speaks volumes).

I would still take an E46 M3 over almost any modern BMW... especially over an F30.

The E46 body is timeless...dated, but timeless...

A better comparison would be between the E39 and F30. They're almost the same size. I'm kinda surprised this made the front page.

Nice & clean e46.

E46 is the last generation of classical BMW 3 series. From E90 onwards to the current gen of F30, they all look great but no longer carry the tradition of BMW classic looks. F30 looks avant-garde but its good look feeling may not last as long as the preceding generations.

I wholeheartedly agree. You guys are mean. Here is a person who enjoyed modifying and driving this E46 just as we all enjoyed doing the same with our cars, and many of you are busting his balls over it. Slamming a car to the ground and throwing the biggest set of wheels that can possibly fit on it doesn't necessarily make for a great build. He decided to mildly modify his xi to his taste and still preserve the functionality of the car. The xi was designed to drive well in harsher climates, and so rode higher to cope with the weather and to ensure that suspension and body parts didn't get damaged as a result of that weather. Personally, I think it's pretty cool that he even modified an xi at all, as most remain stock. Kudos, buddy!

You want the slammed, stanced and cambered look on your car? Cool, good to go! Looks great as a static display, no arguments there. Just be careful getting over those speed bumps as you leave the show...

LCI factory ZHP would be most relevant.

Not a good representation of the e46...

ZHP would have been better...

E46 is still one of my favourites. The E90 looked awful in comparison until they launched the LCI which sorted it out...
