Apple CarPlay Full Screen mode

I have NBT Evo Y, on a 2018 G30. I have Carplay officially purchased from Connected Drive.
Can I use Bimmercode to set Carplay fullscreem to aktiv?
I read that some users experience a white screen

Thanks for this chart. I have 2017 F30 with NBTevo_Y. I tried using Bimmercode to enable Carplay_Fullscreen but do not see those options on the app. I contacted their support and they said I need to have the i-level updated.

Has anyone with "Y" enabled fullscreen Carplay? Otherwise, I'm taking the vehicle to dealer soon. Any advice on how to ask them to update the i-level? I've read they only do it to fix "issues". What "issues" can I say for them to update i-level?

How do you know what versions you are running?

Just used Bimmer Remote to code full screen CarPlay. Didn't work until I installed the wifi antenna. Pretty straight forward albeit a little disconcerting when the whole of the front of the dash is around my knees.

Antenna was £8.99 from Amazon and I think $54 for the coding.

Super impressed overall.

I am on NBTevo_R - I believe you need to be on _X to do this on BimmerCode.

My question is, how do I update to version X? Is it something I can do myself, or BMW, or someone else?

You don't need to update to Version X - your current version supports full screen carplay, just not via BimmerCode - which is a piece of shit coding tool.

If you want to update the headunit to version X, or later then you need to download esys 3.33.0, download the latest psdzdata, download a guide I made for flashing headunits. Then you need a stable 50 amp minimum power supply to maintain the battery as flashing the headunit can take an hour.

I won't be posting links to those files above on the public forum, i don't charge for help.
