anyone DIY the sunshades for the car?

I am looking at doing the DIY for the rear window sunshades. Any opinion welcome.

powered or the BMW stick on with tabs?

I got the BMW stick on with the tabs, but because of my blackbox on the rear windshield, the shade does not fit or sit flush with the windshield. Also the placement of the tabs to hold the shade is important because if the seams of the shade happen to be where you placed the tabs, it'll be a little bit of a pain to put on and take of the shade.
