Debadged and waxed!

Finally decided to debadge my F30 and wax it before it starts getting really hot here! It was tough buffing out the hood of my car due to the clear bra. There's still residue on the edges of the bra...

During the buffing-out process, I noticed imperfections at the lower panels behind the rear wheels--now I'm really starting to consider mud flappers. Maybe color-match it.

The debadge process was fairly easy---just waxed dental floss. No heat gun necessary.

Question: how often do we need to wax our cars?

Looks great. I love my AW, but when I see a nice EBII F30, I have second thoughts.

BTW, congratulations for having your Christmas lights up early.

Looks good!

I wax/seal 2-3 times a year with Nano/swisswax. As long as you do the job right, the seal lasts for 6-8 months usually.

Yeah there was some adhesive, but it was very easy to remove. It's hard to remove on the actual emblem though---I just left it.

How hard is it to sealant the car? Do you do the whole process every 3 months: polish, iso alcohol, clay, seal, and wax???

The sealant 2 times a year (before winter, and before summer-season) This job is done by a pro. I do 1-2 times a year a job with clay and Swisshield wax. Foamgun all year around.

Makes sense when your CA gives it to you for free.
