Maybe I misunderstood (whether they are asking i fund the full cost if windscreen replacement costs more than excess) and will wait for their call next week to clarify but in the meantime any advice? They also said the excess is $1000 if under 26 which I am not but this figure i think was stated on the loan car page I signed which may signal they stated a higher excess than should be....
when i was younger, my loaner excess was 4k
luckily never had an incident.. hope it works out for you

my experience from trivett in parramatta is that you can't even get a lift to the train station unless it's raining. pretty poor service i think so doubt you'd be getting a complimentary loan car.

I think it depends...

I have always had my choice of loan car as I want to try cars out.

For my services I have had:

- 120i (standard loan car)
- 125i M-Sport (trying it out)
- 528i M-Sport (trying it out).

Next service, I'm going to ask if I can try a X3 M-Sport as my wife is interested in one.

I tend to go via sales though who also tell service to call me as opposed to me booking it in.

I give approximately 2 weeks notice (1000km to go to service) and have the loan car from Thursday and return it on Monday... except in the case of the 5 series which was only Thursday to Saturday.
