Automatic Headlight Timer

While I'm quite happy with the auto-headlight sensitivity, I'm disturbed by the time it takes for the headlight to switch off. Why you may ask ? Well, when driving trough tunnels, it bugs me a lot : my car is the only one with headlights on for so long. My S4 was much quicker at switching them off (among other things ). Any idea of what I should be coding to shorten the time ?

Cheers,
Benoist.

The point of not switching off immediately but staying on a bit longer is 1. to prevent it from switching off and on a lot going through underpasses. And 2. it prevents hids from dying by switching on and off to quickly as the Salts within the bulb need to settle after igniting.

Understood but no other manufacturers have headlight staying ON for so long, 2 minutes is ridiculous.

That's the only thing that bothers me when leaving it in auto and going by the under passes. I see other vehicles turn off the headlights and into DRLs as soon as they exit into the sun light.
