BMW 428i xDrive 2014, engine failure 2018 - swapped but will it fail again? timting c

Hello!

I have a -14 428i xDrive (WBA4A7103FD411204 )
that had engine failure in 2018. They swapped to engine to a new one with 0 miles in 2018. The new engine number is 11002420311.
Im trying to find out if this is a new updated engine without the issues or if they swapped to the same one - so I know if I might want to prepare for another engine failure?
Ive been calling the BMW dealership that made the change and they say uts the exact same engine, although this new engine has already managed 50% more miles than the old one without any issues!

It's the same in that it's an N20. Depending on the date of manufacture it may have upgraded internals.
