Might depend on the wheel offset - the other issue was that I didn't like the profile of the tire - made the rim look small. Felt like an off-road setup to me. These tires are what I envisioned when i ordered.

The previous setup was drivable but slight rubbing issues and visually unappealing IMO.

Was the rubbing coused by width or height of the tire??

Both - they seemed huge. About 2mm clearance between the wheel and the bottom of the shock in the front. Only had rubbing in the back over large bumps - but tires stuck out a little.

Thanks for posting, these look awesome. I plan to install the gun metal/machined F10 M5 reps as soon my car arrives in the US and keep the stock wheels for my winter setup.

Pxlmxr, My tire guy insists on 245/35 and 275/30 in the rear on thd replica M5 rims. He says anything lower profile is at my own risk if the rims crack. Do you think its a significant difference visually/functionally from what you have? According to my calcs, its like a 3 mm difference...

Those might work fine. The ones that didn't work for me were:

245/40R19 & 275/35R19

Way too beefy.

I'd love to see pics of your setup once it's on.

Well done. I love those wheels. Not sure I've ever seen a BMW wheel that I liked that didn't look awesome on any BMW.
