There seems to be some demand for another Coding/General get together, so how about changing it up a bit:

Saturday, August 2nd, 2014 starting at 5:00pm at our usual place in Tustin in the Best Buy parking lot.

This time, let's plan on grabbing some dinner right around 7:30pm. Afterwards, I'll code any remaining cars until everyone's coded.

Please post ideas for a place for dinner. I don't know the area at all, but these showed up in a quick Google Search:

1. Lazy Dog
2. BJ's
3. Macaroni Grill
4. On the Border

Any other suggestions/recommendations? Please post your choice and we'll pick a favorite.

Also, please post a message on this thread if you plan on attending, and indicate if you want to code your car or not so I'll know how many cars will need to be done. Each car takes 20-30 minutes depending on how many features are coded.

If there are any coders out there willing to help out, please chime in. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

Very interesting frogman... You can update the map? I'm not sure if my car can be coded anymore since I just got a dinan tune and you can't turn that off I believe

I don't touch the DME, too dangerous; Sorry.

I don't know anything about the dinan tune, but most tunes let you disable them.

The issue some people had with the tune was that the coding traffic over the CAN bus confused the tunes and cause them to hang. So, the tune doesn't interfere with coding, but coding can interfere with the tune. Can't you just unplug it temporarily?

There hasn't been any feedback on where to eat yet. Any preferences anyone?

If there's more coding to do after dinner, we probably do it at the restaurant parking lot. So, I'll post what we pick by Friday so any late arrivals will know where we are.

My vote would be for something like In-N-Out so people could hang outside...of course my vote probably shouldn't count as I won't even be able to be there until closer to 8 (which if nobody is there still I understand)...

I mean I don't mind In-N-Out but by the time you get there we might have already finished eating and we'd all stare at you while you eat. By yourself or with your significant other.
