Question, if I do the test drive in September and order my car in November (within 60 days) for PCD and pick up the car in January (~100-120 days after test drive) will I be able to utilize the 1k cash back?

Also, in a previous post it says this offer cannot be used with any other offer....does that mean it doesn't stack with whatever the current BMW incentive is?

I'm still debating between a 2014 or MY2015 428i M-Sport, if i can combine those 3 rebates a 2014 would probably be my best bet!!
There may be limits but I've combined various rebates before. When I got my 335is, I used rebates from the Olympics, downloading some app, one of these test drive events, and the one for recent graduates. I had almost $4,000 in rebates if I remember right.

Yes, unfortunately I already have my M3 on order so I could not take advantage of this. My dealer is going to try to apply a discount of some sort to compensate, and I still get to drive the 4 Series for the event as well, so that should be fun.

To answer your first question, no you cannot. The car has to be delivered within 60 days of your drive event. It cannot be locked for an ordered vehicle and take delivery after the 60 days.

It can be used with current incentives but not such things as USAA

Same here. Every time slot says open, but when I submit my information it says it is booked. I tried three different times. Just called my dealer and they said they would get back to me. Anyone else found a solution?

I was also getting the time slot error. I ended up just going in and they had several cars available for test drive immediately.

I registered on site using an iPad (they ask for the same information that they ask you online, minus the BMW-given code sent in the email) in a minute or two and gave them my DL# and I was off in a 435i M-Sport w/PPK (8AT since they didn't offer the 6speed manual due to liability aka people who CLAIM to "know how to drive stick" lol). I drove the car alone with pre-programmed navigation directions guiding me through a 3-4 square mile "circle" around the dealership. This was particularly nice because I didn't have to hold back and could pay full attention to the car instead of pretending to listen to the sales associate lol.

This was my first time driving a PPK-equipped N55. It's a very nice little bump up from the original N55 power, I'll give it that...but stepping down from my tune/dp/cp/intake/muffler delete setup I was given a firm slap by reality haha for one thing, there's traction throughout pretty much all of 1st and 2nd gear, which is something I'm no longer used to lol! The power is decent and the handling felt solid but the sound is so weak! Down pipe/exhaust would be very high on my mods list if I were to get one. I didn't really feel too much of a difference between the 3 and 4, though. I think this would have been different had I driven it around a track or a route with less traffic/more turns. This similarity definitely isn't a bad thing because I love my 335i but I expected it to be significantly different, not sure why.

All things considered, I really enjoyed the opportunity to try out the 4 series and I think I am more open to getting an M4 instead of an M3, but not yet completely convinced!

How long does it take to order a car for PCD? If I do the test drive and order the car right after and it arrives within 60 days would that work?

Was able to register today. Tried several times yesterday and was only getting the message "time slots has been filled" for all the slots. Would like to test drive a 2 series while I'm there as well, hope the dealership has one to try.

Also need to know this. If you order a car right after the test drive it seems like it 'might' or might not take longer than 60 days...delivery time is entirely out of the buyer's control even if the order is placed right away and a dealer has the slot. And if you do a PCD, I assume it might even add a little time to the normal delivery. Any idea on dreamspeed's questions? It doesn't seem like there is any guarantee of getting this rebate if you order a car and even if you order it right away.

If you can order and and get the car delivered in the 60 days you are fine. Doing a PCD might be tough to accomplish but all depends on how many they have to do and if any slots are available. When you place the order, have your CA request a certain delivery date and try to see if its possible

Thanks Jason. Here's an angle...Isn't the order finalized at the dealer prior to Performance Center Delivery? How is it determined exactly 'when' the order is to be finalized? Couldn't the order be finalized well ahead of the PCD thus helping to meet the allowance criteria of the order being finalized within 60 days of test drive?

Thanks for the replies, I also sent this question to BMW NA to see if they can clarify.

PCD isn't set in stone yet but I would really like to do it time and budget permitting. Would be nice to have an extra 1k to pay for lodging and gas . But if it's not possible I guess I would just forego the money to do the PCD if I go that route

Yes you typically sign the paperwork 7-14 days prior to taking delivery at the PC, but you aren't taking phyiscal delivery. To be honest, I don't know if that would still qualify. I will try to find that out.

So I have a 335 on its way to me, getting here 6/4. I obtained the car while it was in transit, but it was not technically ordered, nor have I signed any contracts.

I asked my CA if I would qualify for the credit, however he told me since the car is "Priority 1" with my name on it, I wouldn't be able to get the $1,000.

It makes sense to me, but would have been nice to get $1,000 off.

I got 11% off MSRP, so I'm not complaining.

We got the olympic drive credit on our X3 a few years ago despite having already ordered it before the drive event. I think the rules are a little loose. Not sure how one gets away with applying it after they've already picked up their car, but if your dealer is feeling generous, I'm sure there's a way.

Question for those who have done this:

I've never done one of these events at a dealership. Is it worth it for someone more interested in being able to test drive m-sport 4s rather than getting a $1,000 voucher? I'm buying my 4 via ED so the money is worthless. But I would like to drive some 4s alone to get a true feel of the cars.

Me and my cousin are going to test-drive, but don't think he's going to get a new BMW yet, can I use mine and his rebate combined?

I'm actually wondering if I can use this on a Preowned/CPO finance BMW i want to get (not 4 series though)
