2015 428i xdrive GC lease... thoughts?

2015 428i xdrive Gran Coupe

$45,850 MSRP

Selling Price: $40,488

15k miles / year

1st month due at signing ($531)

Lease is $531/month (39 months) which includes NJ 7% sales tax.

Dealer says this price includes the $1,000 holiday event money.

This is just under 12% ($100 more off would be 12%).

Thoughts?

I'm sure you can do much better. Contact a broker - PM me for one in your area that I've used if you want.

I ended up with a $56K MSRP for $533/mo - with only 1mo and 7 security deposits due at signing. I believe it was $570 before the 7 MSD's...

You have higher mileage so that's a big factor but I think you're paying way too much.

Spoke to a broker.. he said that number was pretty darn aggressive but can save me $15/mo roughly.

$515 a month. If I go down to 12K miles I would save another 25ish.

I can also do 7 MSDs, and that would drop it to $488ish with 15K yr... or $465 for 12k miles a year with 7 MSDs.

Since I do about 13,500 miles a year he said I can do 12k miles a year, and I can prepay miles when I need them. Its 3c extra a mile prepaying vs taking it with the lease (as in 15K miles a year vs 12k).

price is ok.
12% is about normal now.
you should have pushed for 14%off.
this will lower all your other numbers.
keep the mileage if you feel you need to use it. its better to have extra than less.
the cost of the extra usage at the end will just rape you.

i would pay out the mileage at the end of lease (right before you turn it in) Why pay for extra you don't need... I normally do between 10-12 so I did 10 and I'll just pay the difference if needed later. I'll do a sanity check once a year and throw the cost in a savings account if I'm over just in case...

is 12% normal for a delivery order or do you mean a car that is on the lot?

OP can do MUCH better. A car at that price should be around $470/month max. I'd recommend talking to a forum sponsor.

I recently was offer 12% on an ordered car. 2015 3 series.
so cars on the lot, you should ask for more.

how do we find these sponsors? I'm interested in a PCD in the spring of 2015 on a 428ix GC. I live in Ohio.

My recent deal is very similar to yours.

36 Months/12,000 miles a year

$45,300 MSRP

$40,820 Selling Price

$38,820 after Drive Coupon and Graduation Incentive

0.0008 Money Factor

$4100 due at signing ($3150 for Multiple Security Deposits that is returned to me in full at the end of the lease, $950 for first month's payment and registration fees)

Lease Protection included that covers tires and excessive wear and tear.

$428 a month inc. 8% CA tax.. $400 and only $2800 MSD without lease protection.

I'm not sure which of the sponsors deal locally, but I see GOLFFRR @ Steve Thomas BMW is on that list.

I purchased my car from a sponsor on the other board this time last year as a special order.

MSRP: $47875
Monthly: $447 @ 39/10k

The residuals for this year are very generous, they went up from 59% to 63% compared to last Dec. If I was able to keep my College Grad rebate and lease it this year, my monthly would be $407, even with the jump in MSRP.
