I'm in Singapore and I've only seen 6 other F30s since I got my car in March this year! Mostly 320i sport lines.

Heck if I were to spend $55k, I'll add 5k to get the M3 instead!
That's a bit off.

The BASE 328 has tons more standard features now and it was $35k for '12 and '$36k for '13. It's an actual increase of maybe 1-2k TOPS. It's when you throw in the "lines" which is kind of a new concept-that is when you are automatically in the $40k+ zone.

Because for the same money as a base 328i with premium package you could get an acura tl sh-awd with tech. A faster, better handling car for the same price maybe even less.

Are we pulling this info out of thin air?

Faster, how? F30 is 5.4 to 60, 13.9-14.1 at 99-100mph. SH-AWD is not faster.

Handles better, how? It's a FWD based car, adding AWD does not make it a sports sedan.

Have you looked at the MPG, the F30 is like 5mpg better highway, maybe more.(TL 18/26, vs 33-34mpg highway for the F30)

Have you seen how the Acura looks?

Also check the price, the SH-AWD with tech will be just as much if not more than an F30 base with premium.(checked, $44k for the Acura, $39-40K for the 328)

Acura's are great cars, but does nothing better than a BMW 3 series other than the price tag maybe.....

I drive 40 miles each day in Connecticut and I've only seen one in the last 10 months. CT has the highest income per capita so I doubt it's because nobody can afford them.

Acura TL??? Really...lmao. The TL body style is terrible and in the end, it's STILL a Japanese car. some have moved well beyond this nonsense...

Driving around town today for about 2 hours and I saw 4 F30's.

They are definitely getting more common here.

I know they're ou there but I'm 40 miles east and a bit south of the city, in NW Indiana. I think I spotted 1 F30 but not sure. Lots of E90's.
I see more S4's than F30's, and only 1 328i Msport EB at the dealer. I think it was waiting to be picked up as there wasn't a window sticker on it, and I haven't seen it on the lot. Very likely an ordered Msport.
My dealer has a bunch of modern and lux F30's, mostly 328xi's in black, black, silver, grey, black, and black, some black, and maybe a white one, and did I already say "black"?

I've got a red 335i Msport and your's is EB. I think we'll be in the "rare" category for a while. I don't think the majority of BMW 3 series buyers even know that the Msport exists.

Finally saw a f30 msport on the street, However, it was being moved from the street, to the dealership floor. What a difference the msport does to the front of the f30. It actually looks nice.

Is the ride quality significantly different on those non-RFT's compared to stock RFT's?

I'd be happy not to see any other F30s. We know they are selling based on the latest sales numbers, but I dont want to see them on every corner either.

I'm north of Boston and have seen very few F30s, maybe a total of ten. Now that the xDrive is out I expect to see more. There are a ton of E90s around, so I was expecting to see more F30s. E92s are relatively rare, especially 335s.

cars just cost a lot now. a TL - S is well over 40k. Probalby $43-44k. and it looks terrible.

hell the msrp on a v6 TSX is $39k and change

and both cars are slower than a 328i, heavier , worse handling and have antiquated 5 speed automatics. I used to drive an 05 TSX and that was probably acura's hey day. current acuras honestly are just non competitive unless you need a really large car (even a TSX now has more interior space than a 328i, but in basically every other way its a worse car).

I mean if you were going to make some comparison with another brand car at least make one that isnt completely absurd. maybe the next gen G37 will be competitive again, but even a G37 sport is getting pretty up there price wise. and the IS250/350 replacement car thats already being test driven by magazines, seems like itll cost as much as a 328 as well while being barely faster if at all (same engines, so the IS350 probably will be close given itll probably weigh more just like the previous 350)

ˆThis.

I saw none on Long Island until Q412, then all xDrives. Couple Sport models, a Luxury and a base.

I think Acura FINALLY replaced the 5spd auto with the 6spd auto in '12.

Gotta say f30 is kinda rare. I keep a lookout for them but all I see is g37 and Acura TL, a4 and C class on the roads. People should trade in their e90 and upgrade

Lol. And the fact that there's no such thing as Acura in Japan makes it even more laughable. American made rebadged Honda. I've had two before and both cars each had two transmission failures well before 75k. Never again this brand
