I recently got a salvage title 2017 340i that was hit in the side skirt. The problem is the guy who owned the car previously took the cat off and has a downpipe. I'm afraid that when we take it to the dmv, they might send us to CHP for a more "in depth" inspection. Has anyone with a salvage title BMW been sent to CHP after DMV inspection, or just in general?
