What is actually in MPPSK and what can I do?

Hey guys,

I'm new to bimmer and tunning so I got a few noob questions to ask. Hopefully, some expert can help me here.

I got my 2018 440i coupe 6MT few months ago with full options including the M Power and sound kit. However, the sale person can't tell me exactly what in the package except for adding more power and better exhaust.

Here is a few things I would like to know and do.

1.Does the MPPSK includes intake? Is it worth to upgrade it to BMS intake? Or any other brand?

2. Is the M Power Kit = chip? If I were to install the JB4, does it replace the M Power Kit or does it stack on top of it in terms of performance?

3. Is it possible to add BOV(regardless of all the hates)?

4. What's the pros and cons for installing QTP valve?

5. Can I just replace the spring with Adaptive M Suspension?

Thank you all in advance for helping out. I'm so excited and glad that I got this car. It's way more fun comparing to my previous A5.

1. Does not include intake. Check out the thread and see if it's worth it for you.

2. Yes, it's an ECU flash. JB4 will piggyback on top.

3. B58 doesn't use BOVs. Check the technical review of the B58.

4. I'm not knowledgeable to answer that one. I only knew a video blogger on YouTube who did a cutout on his 340i.

5. I'm not knowledgeable to answer this one either, however, you could install them. I've heard people saying the stock shocks won't last as long on lowered springs. You could just go coilovers at that point.

Also, most of this information can be obtained by searching the forums. (:

Welcome, most of your questions are already covered, many in the Sticky thread at the start of this page or in the technical forums. Use the search feature too, a great way to find information. The US version of the MPPSK does not include an Intake, opinions vary on the worth of any Intake upgrades for the B58 which powers your 440. MPPSK has a flash component, all other currently popular tunes are piggybacks and most have some issues, some members are very happy with piggybacks but I seem to hear lots of drive-ability issues, weird shift's for Auto trans is one example. If anyone wants to pipe in about the valves have at it. If question five is can you use aftermarket springs on your adaptive suspension the answer is yes but use caution, some work better than others, if you are asking if you can add Adaptive Suspension to a 440 not factory equipped there are probably better, certainly cheaper options available in the aftermarket. Enjoy your 440!

Good choice on the 6MT. I wouldn't trade that for anything. I'm in the heart of a major city siting in bumper to bumper traffic often and just love it.

Most of your questions have been answered. My opinion? Thing is phenomenal performance wise. Want to add on? Work on the aesthetics.

NICE!! I live in the city as well. Some may complaint driving manual is too much in the city, but I think that's the whole point of the fun. I think we are the last generation that knows how to enjoy it, unfortunately.

I asked myself the same question regarding the bov and I learned the way a bypass valve work, but I stumbled upon this today.

https://bimmian.com/Accessories-for-...Valve-Adaptor/

Didnt find any reviews or anything. Not that I want to put that on a warranty / not even broken in vehicule, but thats a mod that will be on my list for sure if the reviews are good.

Anybody heard / saw anything?

Has there been a dyno with JB4 + MPPSK? I can't seem to find it. If there is, could you link me? Appreciate it!
