After a week of 40+ degree weather and rain it is finally, nearly, gone!

He has the Remus Race, it sounds amazing. I'm fine with my tip size thank you very much, lol!

Hah this coming from the guy who encourages the debadge! I'm not doing quads lol, definitely not paying for another diffusor.

Not going, I'm my own detailer! Been doing it for a few years.

I meant more for the social aspect than the clinic. I'm still on the fence about going but I would pick up some grit guards and Iron Out if DD has some breaks on pricing and no shipping.

Honestly not sure, I guess I'll consider it.

The diffuser looks sick! I was thinking of getting one, may I ask where you got yours from? Thanks.

Not so much a mod as it is an improvement but I ordered a set of 4 new Conti ExtremeContact DWS tires. These are not RFT. I am hoping to see better handing, less road noise, and a less harsh ride overall. When I switched from RFT to non-RFT on my E90 it made a world of difference and I am hoping it will do the same here. I will post a review soon! Tires are being delivered tomorrow!

So I've had the tires for about a week now and I must say WOW. I knew that going with nonRFT would make a difference from my previous experience on my last car but the difference is even more dramatic on this car.

Handling overall is improved and you do not get that "running over little bump" feeling when cornering like you sometimes do with RFT.

Going over minor road imperfections yields much less shakiness inside the cabin and produces much less noise. The ride is less harsh while still remaining firm.

So far they have been amazing in wet conditions, no issues with losing traction on a highway ramp at 40mph while raining, they really stick to the ground (as expected).

All in all it's an amazing upgrade over the stockers and I would recommend the upgrade to anyone!

I've been eagerly looking into getting a 19" set. But my current tires, no matter how shitty they are, have some tread on them. Can't justify getting them yet.

Your post doesn't help my anticipation.

What tires did you get? I'm considering dumping RFT's now that the winter rubber is coming off.

Definitely make the move Joe.

Continental ExtremeContact DWS.

I got them from TireRack for 699 shipped, including 2 years of road hazard insurance.

Can't beat that!

Hey bud! The Michelin Pilot SS also solved my problem, and also, when I had an X1 loaner with the same winter Pirelli RFT's, the steering wheel was also chiming a little, and the loaner had 1000 miles!

This prove 1 fact, RFT's suck, are loud, expensive, and not smooth! The problem isn't the car per say.

Hi smithf32
I got my DWS off craigslist lol in late November and BIG BIG difference!
I almost went with another RFT better all-season but couldn't justify the price and the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3 weren't better than DWS in the snow.
Let me tell you, these DWS didn't disappoint all winter long!

Hey ROBNYC!

I was looking at the Pilot A/S 3 as well but heard the same about them being shit in the snow!

Really glad to hear that you love your Conti's!

As much as I would like to say I can't wait to see how they preform in the snow, I really can wait. After the winter we've had I can wait a looooong time haha.
