From 135i performance to m135i to 1M to 135i and now f30 320d PPK
Hey,
This is my first post in a long time so please be gentle...lol The thread is mainly to explain why I went for a 320d manual and not a m235i which id been trying to find in the correct spec for over a year. After having my 135i JB4 tuned coupe for nearly 3 years I needed a replacement I drove it everyday and drove it they it should be driven to be honest the JB4 was quite addictive so running high boost became a bit of a addiction but the car started to fall to bits so I had to find a replacement fast. I had my heart set on a m235i but couldn't justify the price tag as it needed a lot of money spending on it to make it special, after owning a 1M nothing feels special anymore.... So along came a 320d with performance bodykit 20 inch alloys etc local to me well below my budget so I took it for a test drive and the test drive route was in the yorkshire dales etc.. it drove great smooth etc... I purchased it thinking how much I had saved... after a a few days i started to miss my 135i but after a few weeks i had started to get used to the 320d. I drove it mainly in sport or sport plus even in the wet it handles great and more fun in my opinion than my cousins 335d x drive auto. I think the 320d with a manual box works great as couple of months went by I actually liked the way the f30 looks but the power was started to annoy me so I enquired about the PPK power kit the dealership thought I was mad because I had the suspension exhaust priced up. |
