435i pureturbos vs m4, need help
hello guys,
I meditate on the next purchase, but I would be disappointed by my choices .. Now I'm thinking: 435i with pureturbos stage 2 + Exhaust supersprint + MBRAKE (370 + 345mm) + intake bms or AFE, KW V2. -or m4 with ceramic brake + DP and chip GPower 570bhp. in your opinion, what interventions of suspension it the 435i to mimic the M4 on track? Here in Italy, a 435i with 15.000km is around € 42,000 -45,000$ and m4 with a ceramic brake €80,000- 88,000$. what do you recommend? |

Ceramics have daily usability issues. They're for track runs, not DD.

M4 by all means - much more tuning potential and better equipped to handle the power. Unless you're going to track the M4, the $8K brakes just aren't worth the money.
PS - they don't have "chips" any more - it's all done with software either by flashing the ECU or an add-on piggyback tuner. Last car I put a "chip" in was a 1993 Porsche 968.

For me, bought a m4 (with few km) it's best to select with the ceramic brake .. for resale and then I like the track: D
The topic I created it to choose between the two cars, what do you prefer? : D |

The price gap is so huge... IF I had the money, I'd go for the M4 with the CCB. You can drive it for a few years without a tune then get a tune when you feel like having more power.
Although, I think I personally would still be content with a 435i with mods... It all really comes down to what kind of performance you're looking for. |

I am interested at all your point of view ..
Yes in signature I m3e92 in this 3 years I've had 3x 335i e92 and a m3e92 manual. I appreciate the 335i engine (FBO stage 3), in the M3 I hate it but I love the dynamics .. M4 is an answer for my question? I don't know.. I am looking for a powerful car because I travel faster, which has 4 seats that can bring customers (GTR excluded just because it is too far).. The 435i seeing pureturbo about 500whp, I think, the M4 with OEM turbo can't get there .. M4 Pureturbo is amazing, but + 9000$ is out of my budget.. I would not want the M4 is filled with so many words to be the truth then little more than a 435i .. at the end, data in hand, the m4 weighs more than a 435i. What do you think of XDRIVE? : LOL: |

Also, an M4 running a BMS Stage 1 hit 479 rwhp with (I assume) no other mods. As for xDrive, as long as you don't have to deal with snow for an extended period of time (and being in Italy, you probably don't, lucky...), you won't need it. Hope this helps! |

With a 435i you will then have about $49K-euro to mod the 435i to beat a stock M4. I say with that kind of dough it can easily be done. I'm sure there are race/speed shops in Italy that can work wonders for that kind of pasta. |
