I have no problem with those mats you showed - got them in a different rim color to suit my carpet. They've been fine - I'm a lot more comfortable with them than scumming up the carpeted mats that the car came with. An OEM dealer on eBay carried them, and shipped very quickly.

I have the ones shown in the picture and I'm very happy with them. They don't let your shoe slide when wet like the WeatherTechs tend to do. I also have the matching trunk mat, the color compliments my Coral Red interior. These mats are categorized as "Sport Mats" to match the sport line model. It didn't hurt that the dealer threw the complete set in at no cost, yea like I didn't some how pay for them

My dealer threw in the ones you pictured as well. That being said, I went ahead and purchased WeatherTech mats on my own.
BMW Canada even sells mats that are identical to the WeatherTech ones. I suspect that they are manufactured by WeatherTech for BMW. An xDrive plaque is located where the WeatherTech one normally would be. |

I also have the BMW ones you show in the pic and love them. I also love the red accent as it complements the red stitching really nicely. With my alum and black accent dash, it's just enough red splashed in there without being too much.

Sooooooooo, I'm not sure if they are actually the same item with a different "tag" (BMW or WeatherTech) on them. Can anyone else chime in???? Ironically I am also looking to purchase them. While I do not have the red stiching, my outside color is the Melbourne Red with the light tan leather & light tan carpets. So the red outline is a very intriguing choice. OP --THanks for posting those pictures. Interestingly, my dealer had sent me a "BMW debit card" to their dealership with $1k on it intended to provide a 10% discount on purchases done there. Nice come-on/marketing approach to bring you back in to them. So if the mats are WeatherTech (at the BMW), which way do you go: To the Dealer or to the OEM mfr? THe answer to this question might also impact on the OP in that you may be able to get a lower price on the BMW dealership parts place by mentioning this. Worth a shot. |

i don't mind mine - but one thing to note, i hate the feel of my feet on them - rather have the carpet when going barefoot.
shoe season coming soon so this should go away for the season, just one rant...
