electric pressure washers?
anyone know any solid product recommendations?
i'm looking at a budget of 100-150 dollars, something that is made to a high degree of quality, and not necessarily need special features. I only need to clean my car with it. 1) recommendations on PSI max for car washing? thanks! |

I have a 1800psi Karcher pressure washer and use a foam lance from Detailed image. This set up works well for me and I am very happy with it. I have a big gas pressure washer but do not use it on my car. Too big to haul out plus I don't need the pressure. I have mine set up in my garage. I just pull it out and plug in the hose and I am off washing. Works great and convenient set up.
An 1800psi pressure washer will run you around $200 and foam lance is $90. A friend got a cheap pressure washer from Harbour freight and it worked okay but died in under a year. $100-150 will buy you a crappy pressure washer and foam gun. Be aware you will need to get in with your hand and do some washing. The foam plus pressure washer won't get the car clean. Manual scrubbing required. |

I use a Snow Joe/ Sun Joe electric pressure washer. It is quite powerful for electric and has worked excellent (though I've only had it 9 months). It is somewhere between 1500-1800 psi and caught a good deal at Home Depot for like $125 or so shipped next day.

I had a cheap one. Worked okay for a bit then broke. My new one is excellent. Works well, quality made and works great. Worth the money I spent.

Karcher, SunJoe or even the GreenWorks. Anything in the 1500-2000 psi is more than enough power to do a good job.
You can watch a video I just produced for my Youtube channel where I review new equipment I got, including my new Karcher K5. |

I have the AR390SS. I don't do the foam cannon thing; feel it provides no value. The main value of the pressure washer is blasting the big crud off.

its even on sale for $62 which is a steal. 1500 psi and 1.2gpm. this along with CG foam cannon. this picture is when i was still messing around with soap:water ratio and ive got it to where the foam gets thrown on much thicker. |
